In the Moments Lab, we are interested in how the mind and brain link together moments of time to construct durable and adaptive memories.
We use behavioral, neuroimaging, neuropsychological, and computational methods to address questions like:
How do we integrate across memories to learn what generalizes across experiences?
How do learned regularities influence how we encode new experiences into memory?
How do we incorporate new memories into our existing knowledge?
How do we represent the temporal structure of experience?
